Here’s the place to share your chosen memory verse(s) for the month of February! Keep it up ladies! I’m so honored to be with you on this journey. If anyone wants to join in, just add to the comments a Bible verse that you will commit to memory this month. It’s not too late!
“Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. They are not just idle words for you – they are your life.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47 NIV
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1Corinthians 2:9 NLT
This is my verse too this first part of Feb.
pam said,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
A family friend cross stitched that for me on my med school graduation, I looked at it for many years in my office. It is a special verse
And we know that in all things God works for the good of all who love Him, who have been called according to HIs purpose.
Romans 8:28
JAMES 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God
Resist the Devil and he will flee from you
God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn’t come from anything you do. It is God’s gift.
Eph. 2:8
The Lord says, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”—Isaiah 49:16 (NIV)
Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
This is the kids memory verse this month and its mine also. Eagle fact: baby eagles are born with big, heavy wings. If they flap too much they will die- they have to learn to soar. Just like me if I decide in a hard situation to do it myself, or get mad, or feel sorry for myself I am going to wear myself out, I need to soar and keep my focus on My Lord and He will renew my strength.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Romans 12:12
Holly said,
February 8 (but this is my January verse)
The Lord you God…will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17 NIV
same verse from The Message
Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save youl Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs.
My second February verse:
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hears and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
my second verse for February
Romans 10:17
Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ
By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.
Psalm 42:8 NIV
The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. Psalm 16: 7, 8 MSG
