  5. God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn’t come from anything you do. It is God’s gift.

  6. Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
This is the kids memory verse this month and its mine also. Eagle fact: baby eagles are born with big, heavy wings. If they flap too much they will die- they have to learn to soar. Just like me if I decide in a hard situation to do it myself, or get mad, or feel sorry for myself I am going to wear myself out, I need to soar and keep my focus on My Lord and He will renew my strength.

  7. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

  8. Holly said,
February 8 (but this is my January verse)

The Lord you God…will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
    Zephaniah 3:17 NIV

    same verse from The Message
Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save youl Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs.

  9. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hears and your minds in Christ Jesus.
    Philippians 4:6-7

  10. my second verse for February

    Romans 10:17
Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ

  11. The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. Psalm 16: 7, 8 MSG
