March Scripture Memory Verses

Keep it up, my friends!  PB will be preaching on 2 Peter 1:3-9 this week.  It’s a rich passage that gives us a reason for putting scripture to memory: “…he gave us these very great and precious promises. With these gifts you can share in God’s nature, and the world will not ruin you with its evil desires.” NCV   Memorizing His promises will bring us close to God and keep us from ruin!  Can’t wait to see what you choose this month!  Post here again on the 15th if you are doing two a month.

  1. I am absolutely convinced that nothing……..nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable——absolutely nothing can get between us & God’s love because of the way Jesus our Master has embraced us.
    Romans 8: 38, 39 MSG

  2. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 NIV

  3. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
Praying to experience everyday; how the unconditional love of Jesus can change my life & bring strength & healing to my heart and the hearts of others…

  4. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.
    Deut. 30 :19b

  5. Jesus wept.–John 11:35–When we face unexpected disappointments–we remember that Jesus understands–he has so much compassion for us–and when our hearts are hurting–he cries with us.

  6. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my father’s house are many rooms; If it were not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2

  7. Behold My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. *HS* Isaiah 42:1

  8. So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

(Shari, you can have this one, too!)

  9. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began & finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed—that exhilerating finish in & with God—He could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now He’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. Hebrews 12:2 MSG

  10. Ephesians 2:10

    For we are God’s workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works
which God prepared in advance for us to do

  11. “Finally figured out how to post!”

    1 Peter 5: 6-7
Humble yourselves, therefore under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
